What drives Rimouski prices

Rimouski sits on Highway 20 and Highway 132 along the St. Lawrence. Maritime services anchor the local economy. Highway 20 is the main route east along the south shore, and Highway 132 follows the river. That position makes Rimouski a regular stop on the long run between Quebec City and the Gaspé. Carriers heading east pass through this market. The river defines the town, and maritime work keeps freight moving through the region. Road freight and river freight share the same ground here.
